AEROPORTO DA MADEIRA

MADEIRA AIRPORT EXPANSION - FUNCHAL
Structural design of the Funchal Airport Runway expansion, consisting of a multi-span concrete bridge with a total length over 1000m and a width of 200m, capable of withstanding the crash of a BOEING 747/400. The columns reach a 50m height , across a 32 m metric.

QUEVE RIVER BRIDGE- ANGOLA
Structural design for an alternative solution for a 920m long bridge, with a maximum span of 92m, over the Queve river in Angola.

VOUGA

IP5/A25 BRIDGES - TALHADAS
Structural design of several motorway bridges including the ones over the Vouga River, 268m long and 60m wide, and the Caima River, 162m long and 14m wide.

IC28

IC28 BRIDGES AND VIADUCTS –PONTE DE LIMA/PONTE DA BARCA
Part of the winning public conception/construction bid for all the special structures, including several bridges and viaducts, with leghts ranging form 75m to 375m, for a new motorway between Ponte da Barca and Arcos de Valdevez.

A2BRISA

A2 VIADUCTS – COINA/PALMELA
Structural design of 5 viaducts over the A2 for BRISA, the largest tolled motorway operator in Portugal, with a maximum length of 91m and a maximum width of 26m.

Different structural solutions were adopted including an innovative composite deck (steel-concrete) using steel open top trapezoidal box girders.

EN101 BRIDGE AND VIADUCTES – PONTE DA BARCA/ARCOS DE VALDEVEZ
Structural design of the winning bid for a public conception/construction for all the special structures, including several bridges and viaducts for a new motorway betwen Ponte da Barca and Arcos de Valdevez.

ANTAS

ANTAS BRIDGES - OPORTO
Structural design for 5 viaducts with spans ranging from 70m to 300m, integrated in the ANTAS development project, adjacent to the Antas Stadium.

DIVOR

DIVOR RIVER BRIDGE
Structural and operational design for the refurbishing of a masonry bridge form the beginning of the XX century, including increasing its width.

The adopted solution consisted of an independent concrete structure embedded in the existing one, including micro-piles inside the existing columns.

ALHANDRA

URBAN VIADUCT - ALHANDRA
Structural design of viaduct cross the North Line railway , replacing an existing one.

All the necessary works, including demolitions, took place with interruptions in the train circulation.
